 To unite and empower Kansas City through hip-hop, celebrating its culture, artists, and positive impact through events that highlight all elements of hip hop. 

Kansas City Hip Hop week first took place in June 2024. The celebration is recognized by the City of Kansas City, Missouri through proclamation from Mayor Quinton Lucas. Kansas City Hip Hop week is a community partner of U.N.E.S.C.O. Creative Cities- KC.
